As the genre’s chief ambassador, Blake Shelton has been delivering country music to a diverse audience for more than 20 years. In that time, he has accumulated an astonishing 28 No. 1 singles, sold nearly 15 million album equivalents, and earned upwards of 12.5 billion global streams. Shelton has received myriad awards, including six ACMs, three AMAs, 10 CMAs, 11 CMTs, six People’s Choice Awards, and more. The 2023 edition of his “Back to the Honky Tonk” Tour Presented by Kubota was one of Billboard’s Top 100 Tours of the Year and earned rave reviews from fans and critics alike.
As an original coach on the Emmy Award-winning television show “The Voice,” Shelton brought a steady diet of current and classic country music to the NBC prime-time audience. After 23 seasons and nine championships, he stepped away from the show in May 2023. He and Carson Daly have teamed up to executive produce and star in the high-spirited celebrity game show “Barmageddon.” Hosted by Nikki Garcia, the show aired on USA Network and premiered as the network’s highest-rated debut episode in more than three years. Season Two wrapped in January and is streaming on Peacock.
The Grand Ole Opry member also remains focused on his Ole Red partnership with Ryman Hospitality, with locations currently in Tishomingo, Nashville, Gatlinburg, Orlando, and an exciting new venue in Las Vegas just opened. A noted humanitarian, Shelton has helped raise millions of dollars for children’s hospitals, disaster relief organizations, food banks, the OKPOP Museum, and more in his home state of Oklahoma and beyond.
They say the path to the grandest stage is paved with relentless practice, and Emily Ann Roberts embodies this mantra. She has accumulated a wealth of performing, songwriting and recording experiences, and this dedication has translated into more than 45 million streams, solidifying her status as a prominent artist. From humble performances on small Knoxville stages to gracing the illustrious Grand Ole Opry platform almost 20 times, Roberts has diligently earned her place in the spotlight. Her journey began on Blake Shelton's team on “The Voice,” a remarkable feat achieved even before completing high school. Nine years later, her growth and hard work prompted an invitation from former coach Shelton to join his 17-date arena Back to the Honky Tonk Tour in 2024. Notably, CMT, Country Now, Music Mayhem Magazine, All Country News and others have earmarked her as a significant artist to watch in 2024. Rooted in East Tennessee, Roberts draws inspiration from the rich tapestry of Smoky Mountain music, bluegrass virtuosos and country legends spanning generations - from Loretta Lynn and Dolly Parton to Miranda Lambert and Cody Johnson. This diverse upbringing uniquely positions her to reintroduce authenticity to country music, a mission evident in her debut full-length record, “Can't Hide Country,” released in September 2023. Recorded at Starstruck Studios in Nashville and produced by Grammy-winning maestro Trent Willmon, Roberts’ lyrics, brimming with honesty and coupled with her exceptional vocal prowess, have garnered widespread acclaim from both the media and her devoted fan base. Country music stalwarts Grady Smith and Saving Country Music’s Trigger each bestowed her album with a top-three ranking on their 2023 Best Albums lists. It is undeniably evident that country music is in capable hands with Roberts steering the ship.
