New in 2024! Available FREE to help you make the most of your fair day!

From the home screen, access a searchable Food Finder, Shops Finder and Daily Schedule.

• From the list view, click on each box to get more details.
• From the detail page, click on the map with the red pinpoint to access another map that uses your location services to show where you are.
• On the location map, click on the black box of text to remove it from view.
• The “Website” button will take you to even more information housed on our website.
• On the Daily Schedule, all day-long activities appear first in the list.
• Once an event has ended, it will no longer appear in the list.
• Use the filter menu to narrow your search.
• Use the star button to mark your favorites. Once you’ve made your selections, click the star in the top left corner to view a list of your favorites within each database. (A map of your favorites is not available at this time, but it’s in the works for future app updates.)

On the Map from the home screen, you’ll see A LOT of icons!

• Make sure your location services are turned on for the map to function properly and to see where you are.
• Use the filter menu to focus on food, shops, stages, drinking fountains, restrooms, ATMs and more.
• Tap on an icon to get more details; click on the black box to remove the details box.
• Because so many vendors are very close to each other, not every vendor is noted with an icon. If you click on an icon, and it’s not the vendor you want, try using the search field to find the vendor’s icon.

From the home screen, use the three-bar menu in the upper left corner for links to FAQs, accessibility info, updates, website link and more.

Offline usage: On peak attendance days, connectivity on the fairgrounds can be spotty. Most functions of the Official MN State Fair App will work the same whether you have connectivity or not – Food Finder, Shops Finder, New Foods, New at the Fair, Daily Schedule and Grandstand. For categories such as Accessibility, Tickets, Get Here, FAQ and Updates, there will be a delay in content loading because the content is pulled from our website. The interactive map will still be usable; however, location services may not be fully functioning if connectivity is an issue.
